Eagle Chapter, Air Force Security Police Association, is offering a commemorative coin to remember A1C Elizabeth N. Jacobson and raise funds for the Proud Warrior Program.

Elizabeth became the first female Security Forces member Killed in Action when her convoy was struck by an IED on September 28, 2005 near Safwan, Iraq.  The coin was designed with the help of Elizabeth’s Grandmother, Sondra Millman-Cosimano. and through the kindness of the management of KV Coins, San Antonio, Texas, who donated the design and production costs, we are now able to offer the coin for a $10.00 donation to the Proud Warrior Fund.

Since 2003, Eagle Chapter through the generosity of Security Force members and the Air Force Security Police Association membership has operated the Proud Warrior Program to provide visitation, gifts and some financial support to combat wounded SFs recovering at Washington DC area military hospitals.  To date, the chapter has assisted five warriors, ranging in grade from Airman to 2nd Lieutenant.  For those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, Eagle members attend services when the internment is at Arlington or other local national military cemetery and provides family members support and commemorative gifts.
